Consultations with a Pharmacist (CPCS)

To improve access for patients to GP appointments, we are using a new service which directs patients to the most appropriate healthcare professional. The NHS Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS) provides convenient treatment closer to patient’s homes with pharmacists for minor ailments. They have 5 years training in managing minor illnesses and providing health and wellbeing advice.

Lots of conditions are more appropriate to be seen with a Community Pharmacist instead of a GP. Our receptionists will discuss your symptoms and send you for a same-day appointment with a Community Pharmacist for a personal consultation.
