The secondary care booking team for any hospital referral appointment should not ask you to contact us.
Secondary care referral waiting lists are managed by the secondary care staff.
The secondary care staff review and set the priority of all referrals from our surgery.
We give your contact details to the secondary care team so that they can contact you if they need to.
Your referral booking date will only change if your medical situation changes. Your GP will not send a letter unless there is a medical reason to do so.
Our surgery cannot help you with any concerns about waiting times for secondary care. Please contact the secondary care team or the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).
