For non-urgent medical or administrative help, you can contact us using use our online consultation.
This service allows you to tell us about your symptoms, ask questions, or request advice without needing to phone or attend the surgery.
Your request will be reviewed by our clinical or administrative team. Submissions are reviewed during our normal working hours, and we will provide a response once your request has been assessed.
Response times can differ depending on the nature of your enquiry and overall demand. Please note: this service is not monitored continuously, and response times may vary.
If you have a medical emergency or need help outside of practice hours, please contact NHS 111 or 999 as appropriate.
Appointments
High Green Medical Practice operates a total triage appointment system.
This means that every request for an appointment is first reviewed by the triage team led by a clinician to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
You can contact us:
- Online – via the NHS App or use our online consultation form
- By telephone 0115 942 3216 – our reception team will complete a short triage form with you
- In person – our staff will help you submit your request at reception
After your request has been assessed, our team will contact you to advise on the next step — this may be a phone call, a face-to-face appointment, or advice from another member of our healthcare team.

When you contact us, it’s helpful to have your NHS number. You can use the NHS website to find your NHS number.
To cancel your appointment:
- fill in an online form
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- phone us on 0115 942 3216, Monday to Friday, when we are open
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday, when we are open
Extended access appointments are available through NCGPA GP+ in Nottingham City Centre.
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Please tell us:
- If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email.
- If you need an interpreter.
- If you have any other access or communication needs.
