Following on from recent patient feedback the practice has implemented the following.

You said:

I didn’t know my smear was due as I didn’t receive a letter from the screening office.

We did:

We now send most invitations by SMS in case the patient hasn’t updated their address with us. We also opportunistically remind patients about overdue reviews when we speak to them on the phone or when they attend an appointment.

You said:

I want to see a GP face to Face.

We did:

Our appointment system is now patient choice just let the receptionist know if you wish to have a call or face to face appointment.

You said:

You asked if blood test appointments could be booked online.

We did:

These are now available to book through accurx booking link for GP plus and the new NHS App.

You said:

You found it difficult to get through to the GP by phone.

41% of patients find it easy to get through to this GP practice by phone.

We did:

We used the accurx system to allow patient to ask general enquiry’s.
If the patient struggles to get in touch we can always send a booking link and always allow the patients to reply to SMS if unable to get through.
