The Practice Aim
Our aim is to treat our patients promptly, courteously, with respect and in complete confidence. All patients will have equal access to healthcare and we welcome everyone of all races, religions, physical abilities and sexual orientation.

Monday: 8am - 7pm
Tuesday: 8am - 8pm
Wednesday: 8am - 7pm
Thursday: 8am - 8pm
Friday: 8am - 7pm
Out of hours phone service available from:
Monday to Friday: 6.30pm
If you ring the surgery out of our opening hours your call will be directed to the out of hours service.
Our team comprises 4 GP's, 2 nurses, practice manager, reception staff and patient service administrators. We also have attached nursing staff, i.e. district nurses, community midwives, health visitors and community matron.
The High Green Practice takes 1st, 2nd and final year medical students and hospital doctors as part of their training. If there is a student attending at the time of your appointment you will be asked if you mind them being there. If you have any objections they will leave.
The High Green Medical Practice is based within The Mary Potter centre. The Mary Potter Centre is also the base for many community health services which are accessed via referral from the GP’s /Practice nurse. Services include ECG’s, podiatry, community dentistry, Phlebotomy clinics, antenatal clinics, physiotherapy, new leaf and counselling.
Patients with particular needs
Mary Potter Health Centre is accessible to patients using a wheelchair and parking spaces are available within the main car park for wheel chair users.
We can arrange interpretation and translation services in person or by phone for patients who do not speak English.
Car parking is available at the Mary Potter Centre there are designated blue badges spaces. Car parking spaces are limited so if possible please use public transport to get to the surgery. However if you are arriving by car please allow extra time before your appointment to find a parking space.
